If you're a disgruntled 2K player/veteran, Live 18 probably has enough to keep you entertained if you can find it for a cheap price. Gameplay wise, it's easy to pick up on and doesn't involve a whole lot of skill, player animation looks a bit dated compared to the smoothness in NBA 2K18.

I'm a franchise type player myself and the AI is actually smarter than that in Madden, NHL and even FIFA.
